The ideal candidate will have experience in the engineering or construction industry and will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Closing Process Management: Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Perform variance analysis and financial forecasting.
- Budget Preparation and Planning: Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Internal and External Audits: Support internal and external audits.
- Project Costing and Financial Reporting: Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate project costing and financial reporting.
- Financial Insights and Recommendations: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Professional Qualification: CPA/ CA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Accounting Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a focus on engineering or construction.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in MYOB and MS Excel.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
