Job Summary

PCYC Queensland is seeking a passionate and sharp Program Development Manager to support the delivery of our Respectful Relationships Program suite. This role has the flexibility to be based at one of our PCYC clubs around Queensland (subject to availability). If you are an enthusiastic, people-orientated leader and have a passion for community development, then we want you.

About the Role

  • Support PCYC Clubs to deliver the Respectful Relationships Program suite, fostering evidence-based programming that adheres to best practice principles and meets the goals of PCYC.
  • Undertake project work on a regular basis, playing a key role in the management of youth programs and community development.
  • Coordinate professional development opportunities for Club staff to deliver programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program strategies to achieve PCYC's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Club staff to deliver high-quality programs that meet the needs of young people.
  • Manage projects and programs, ensuring effective planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Club staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community organizations and government agencies.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in a community and/or youth development role, along with relevant post-secondary qualification to at least undergraduate level.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects and programs.
  • Hold a current driver's license or a light rigid driver's license, and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain).
