Perioperative Services Executive Leader

The Director of Perioperative Services oversees the strategic direction and operational efficiency of perioperative services across multiple facilities.
This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare leader who thrives in complex environments and has a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, driving theatre growth, and building strong teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to enhance theatre activity, improve operational efficiency, and ensure excellence in patient care;
- Lead and develop high-performing perioperative teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation;
- Oversee clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement projects, and accreditation readiness;
- Manage resources effectively to achieve strong clinical and financial outcomes;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, staff, and key stakeholders.
- Candidates must be collaborative, inspiring healthcare leaders with extensive experience in senior or executive roles within acute hospitals;
- Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing and/or health care management;
- Demonstrate proven expertise in clinical, financial, risk, and human resource management, as well as exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
