Perioperative Services Leadership Position

The Director of Perioperative Services plays a pivotal role in driving the operational and strategic direction of Perioperative Services.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead high-performing perioperative teams to achieve excellence in patient care;
- Drive theatre activity growth and operational efficiency;
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and patient-centred care;
- Oversee clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement projects;
- Manage significant resources to achieve strong clinical outcomes;
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, staff, and key stakeholders.
- A collaborative healthcare leader with expertise in complex environments;
- Current registration as Registered Nurse with AHPRA;
- Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing and/or health care management;
- Significant leadership experience at a senior or executive level within an acute hospital;
- Proven expertise in clinical, financial, and human resource management;
- Strong change management, strategic thinking, and business development skills;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
