Job Title: Payroll and HR Administrator

Overview:

The role of a Payroll and HR Administrator is crucial in supporting the efficient operation of an organisation's human resources functions. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing and HR administration, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Process end-to-end payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including contract preparation.
  • Handle payroll queries and provide support to employees regarding entitlements.
  • Collaborate with HR to update policies and procedures as needed.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with superannuation, taxation, and award requirements.
  • Support the HR team with administrative tasks and projects.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a range of payroll software.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and awards.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
