Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. Our team delivers defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.
About the Role
In this role, you will work as a part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre setting, supporting the diverse mental health needs of military members. You will be responsible for initial intake and assessment, with flexibility to accommodate presenting need. You will have autonomy to manage your caseload, including oversight and case management of externally referred cases and the provision of internal treatment to Defence members.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule
- Manage crisis presentations, risk assessment, and risk management planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care
- Participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain registration and expertise
