As a key member of our multi-disciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality mental health services to patients, including intake assessments, risk assessments, crisis intervention, case formulation, and medication management.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver evidence-based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule
- Collaborate with the Senior Mental Health team and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide crisis intervention and risk management planning
- Participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills

- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Credentialed with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN) or minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma Mental Health Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Graduate experience in mental health
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
- Knowledge of relevant State/Territory policies and procedures and national standards governing mental health practice
