Mental Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team at Lavarack Health Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial intake and assessment of patients, providing flexible support to accommodate presenting needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that capitalize on your skills, interests, and scope of practice.
- Manage your caseload, including oversight and case management of externally referred cases and provision of internal treatment to Defence members.
- Assess and manage crisis presentations, risk assessment, and risk management planning within a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
