Job Title: Financial Planning Manager

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our team as Financial Planning Manager in a Permanent Full-Time capacity.

Main Objectives
  • Maintain and enhance financial planning systems, ensuring all maintenance, changes and upgrades are implemented in accordance with organisational requirements.
  • Facilitate the development of the Annual Budget and Quarterly Budget review processes in a timely manner.
  • Develop and improve long term financial planning systems and processes that enhance understanding of financial risks and ongoing financial sustainability.
  • Oversee the integration of financial data and systems into existing financial systems, ensuring ongoing maintenance and enhancement to meet reporting requirements.
  • Foster a culture of customer service, continuous improvement and best practice outcomes.
  • Maintain fraud and corruption framework, enabling effective management and mitigation of risks.

About You

To support your success in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in finance or a related field, along with Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) membership.
  • Minimum of five years of demonstrated financial planning and/or management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing day-to-day operations of a business unit and proven supervisory experience gained within a multi-disciplinary function, including ability to develop and motivate staff, provide expert advice, establish and monitor outcomes.
  • Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills, including ability to develop written reports and transfer financial knowledge to non-financial managers.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in development, analysis, monitoring and reporting of budgets, forecasts and financial models.
  • Demonstrated business analytical skills, including extraction, validation and analysis of complex data from financial databases to solve data integrity issues.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in system implementation and enhancement, including consultation with users.
