Financial Operations Manager role at a leading dairy manufacturing company. This position leads financial activities across multiple facilities, delivering accurate accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and costing services while ensuring compliance with corporate and local reporting requirements.
Reporting to the GM Commercial Supply Chain & Operations Oceania, you will provide strategic financial insights, drive performance improvement, and lead a team of site-based analysts. Your ability to influence, challenge, and partner with operational leaders will be critical to your success.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop Finance Analysts across multiple sites.
- Act as the Finance Lead for site leadership teams.
- Provide commercial support to Regional Operations and Site Managers.
- Escalate and resolve finance-related issues at the site level.
- Deliver accurate cost reporting, variance analysis, and product costing.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Support capital project evaluations and post-implementation reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance regional performance.
This role can be based at either our Cobden or Stanhope site, with regular scheduled travel to the alternate location (every 6 - 8 weeks). A fully maintained tool of trade vehicle will be provided.

In addition, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in a Commercial role within manufacturing, FMCG, dairy, or related industries.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership in matrix environments.
