This is an ongoing role within the State Government of Victoria, Australia, where you will be responsible for assessing the quality and accuracy of evidence recorded on Reports of Non-Compliance and Dockets.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the quality and accuracy of evidence recorded on Reports of Non-Compliance and Dockets.
- Determine the appropriate outcome for notifications through the application of agreed decision-making criteria.
- Communicate with authorized officers, public transport operators, and towing operators when reports of non-compliance are not completed accurately or contain insufficient evidence.
- Undertake administrative support activities and maintain business systems to support the Transport Regulatory Operations branch.
- Work collaboratively within the team, across the branch, and with other key stakeholders to deliver regulatory activities.
- Ensure that all records relating to public transport infringements, original contracts, financial records, and other documents are securely and accurately maintained and stored.
- A tertiary degree or work towards this goal would be highly regarded.
- Ability to understand and identify how own work is part of a system that connects to and interacts with other processes, people, and structures.
- Ability to seek resolution of problems through policy or process guidelines.
- Capable of contributing ideas toward improving the effectiveness of own work area.
- Ability to perform a range of tasks through digital tools, including Microsoft suite of applications.
