About the Role

The Alfred Health Car Park team is seeking a skilled and energetic individual to assist with the daily operations within The Alfred's automated car parks.

This role will work closely with our existing professional car park customer service team, providing excellent customer service, cash handling, processing staff permits, valet operations, vehicle stacker unit operations, ATZ (Bicycle Parking) operations, parking ticket validations, carrying out perimeter patrols, issuing of parking infringements and cleaning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the car park, working with the latest technology in CCTV, intercom and remote access control equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to staff, patients and visitors
  • Process staff permits, valet operations and vehicle stacker unit operations
  • Issue parking tickets and validate parking
  • Carry out perimeter patrols and issue parking infringements
  • Clean and maintain the car park area
  • Operate and monitor CCTV, intercom and remote access control equipment

Requirements

  • Have a 'can do' approach to resolving customer issues
  • Be accurate in the recording of incidents and events
  • Have sound computer skills, including MS Office, Outlook and Excel
  • Have good availability throughout weekdays
  • Previous experience in customer service, control room environment and/or experience with Skidata and Park Assist equipment is highly regarded
  • Be able to liaise effectively at an inter-departmental level with senior management, other department staff and external organisations
