Proactive Services Team Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Proactive Services Team Lead to join our team at Woolworths. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of cleaning and trolley collection specialists to ensure that our stores are always clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of cleaning and trolley collection specialists to ensure that all daily tasks and operations are completed to a high standard.
  • Work closely with the Store Leadership team to identify challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities.
  • Develop succession plans through coaching to increase team productivity and improve overall satisfaction.
  • Complete time and attendance activities for team members, including tracking hours, managing absences, and ensuring compliance with company policy.
  • Order consumables for stores, such as cleaning supplies, and maintain these within a budget.
  • Work as part of the Proactive Services team, providing cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management services.
Requirements:
  • Ambitious mindset with a love of retail and a passion for people.
  • Flexibility to work in different environments, including the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks.
  • A good eye for cleanliness and small details.
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to work with other Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to plan and coordinate routines and timeframes.
  • Organisation skills to ensure the team has all the equipment and supplies needed to work safely and efficiently.
  • Comfortable working with a regulated framework, including Food Safety, industrial regulations, and code of conducts.
  • A valid full Australian driver's licence is essential.
