We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Executive Director Aged Care, a pivotal position that requires strategic oversight and leadership skills. Job Description

The Executive Director Aged Care will have overall responsibility for the provision of aged care services delivered by our organization, including residential sites, independent living units, and community-based services. This includes leading the strategic direction and governance of clinical and care standards, compliance, and accreditation, as well as overseeing financial and resource management, workforce development, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic direction and governance of clinical and care standards, compliance, and accreditation.
  • Oversee financial and resource management, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Manage workforce, human resources, and organisational development across multiple sites and teams.
  • Engage stakeholders and the community, including advocacy for consumer-centred care and resident rights.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Executive leadership experience in aged care, health, or human services with demonstrated ability to manage large, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong operational and financial management acumen, ensuring efficient service delivery and achievement of financial targets while maintaining high-quality care.
  • Proven experience managing resources effectively and leading teams through complex change in alignment with aged care reforms.
  • Qualifications as a Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Knowledge of aged care quality standards, the aged care act, and contemporary aged care service delivery models.
