As a seasoned leader in aged care, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality services across residential sites, independent living units, and community-based services. Your strategic oversight will ensure safe, person-centred care for all older people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee approximately 160 FTE staff and manage resources effectively across six residential Aged Care facilities, Transitional Care Program beds, and home-based Aged Care services under various funding streams.
  • Lead the strategic direction and governance of clinical and care standards, compliance, and accreditation ensuring excellence in every aspect.
  • Manage financial and resource management including budgeting and financial reporting to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead workforce, human resources, and organisational development across multiple sites and teams fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
  • Engage stakeholders and the community advocating for consumer-centred care and resident rights ensuring their voice is heard.
  • Identify and manage risks and emergency preparedness in aged care operations maintaining a proactive approach.

Requirements

  • Proven executive leadership experience in aged care, health, or human services with ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams driving collaborative results.
  • Strong operational and financial management acumen ensuring efficient service delivery and achievement of targets while maintaining high-quality care.
  • Qualifications as a Registered Nurse with current registration with relevant authorities.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, contemporary aged care service delivery models, and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead organisational change, service improvement, and compliance reform driving lasting impact.
  • Demonstrated skills in financial and operational management including budget development and reporting ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills including community consultation and advocacy fostering strong relationships.
