About the Role

The Works Ready Team Leader is a critical position that oversees the preparation and coordination of work packages for field delivery teams.

In this role, you will lead a team of planners to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient preparation of work packages that enable safe and effective field execution.

You will be responsible for overseeing job scoping, outage management, and materials ordering. Ensuring work packages meet compliance, HSEQ, and quality standards is also a key aspect of this role.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize resources and customer outcomes.
  • Promote the use of digital tools (SAP, UPvise, GIS, mobile platforms) to improve planning efficiency.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex planning issues or customer interface challenges.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Field Leaders, and representatives from AusNet to ensure seamless transition from planning to execution.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in electrical networks, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in work planning and order management within the electricity supply industry.
  • A sound understanding of construction, maintenance, scheduling, and network operations.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, GIS tools, and other work management systems.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and build team capability.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.
