Job Title: Senior Emergency Services Director

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead South Australia's emergency services sector. As Senior Emergency Services Director, you will work closely with the Minister for Emergency Services and Correctional Services to discharge all legislative responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading and managing teams, developing and implementing strategic policies, and ensuring effective resource allocation. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing a risk-based Emergency Management Framework for the State within a national context
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to initiate advancements in sector improvements and maintain key capabilities
  • Engaging with volunteer associations and unions
