About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Government Relations and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, you'll be entrusted to:

  • Drive Strategy & Positioning – Develop integrated messaging that amplifies brand reputation and ensures alignment with organisational goals.
  • Support Executives & Stakeholders – Create high-quality speeches, briefing packs, and tailored communications for senior leaders.
  • Manage Media & Public Affairs – Navigate high-profile media environments, providing both proactive outreach and crisis response strategy.
  • Deliver Powerful Content – Lead the production of compelling material across digital, print, and social platforms with a consistent voice.
  • Simplify Policy & Advocacy – Translate complex regulatory detail into clear, persuasive communication to support advocacy and government relations priorities.

About You We're looking for a seasoned communicator with:

  • 5–7 years' experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or media management in regulated or politically sensitive environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field (Master's highly valued).
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, influence senior stakeholders, and remain composed in high-stakes situations.
