Job Title: Crisis Broadcast Coordinator

This role plays a critical part in the broadcasting team's emergency response efforts, supporting coverage of natural disasters and emergencies across South Australia and Northern Territory, as well as nationwide when required.

  • The Crisis Broadcast Coordinator will coordinate and support emergency broadcasting coverage, presenting live emergency warnings and related content to radio audiences and posting updates on social media platforms.
  • Key responsibilities include creating sitreps and coverage plans for emergency events, assisting in the development of training programs for emergency procedures, and collaborating with emergency agencies and internal stakeholders.

To succeed in this position, you will need strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. You must have experience broadcasting live to air under pressure, preferably in an emergency broadcasting environment. Experience in planning, gathering, and producing content, as well as posting on multiple social media platforms, is essential.
