Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Director to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Mindshare team, you will oversee and coordinate the delivery of biddable experts, ensuring quality implementation planning, improving operational efficiency, and acting as a senior consultant to clients for their activation and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Management
    • Oversee team workflow, dealing with issues as they arise to a satisfactory resolution
    • Ensure your team is adequately trained, resourced, motivated, and engaged to deliver on campaign requirements
    • Conduct regular 1-2-1s with your team, providing leadership and modelling our behaviours at all times
  • Product Development
    • Help define and deliver best practice, supervising your team's output and intervening where necessary
    • Contribute to product development and direction, leveraging vendors and partners to achieve this
    • Anticipate future challenges, trends, and changes to both your clients and our industry, proactively forming a view of strategies to mitigate risk and create opportunity
  • Client Relationships
    • Lead key client relationships as it relates to implementation planning & buying, ensuring team output is to the required standard
    • Be the voice of GroupM Nexus initiatives with your teams and your clients, driving best practice and innovation
    • Navigate the complex media, technology, and data landscape, providing counsel and support to both your team and clients
    • Elevate both team and client thinking through expert opinion and leadership, including tackling sensitive conversations with confidence
  • Commercial Management
    • Responsible for the overall delivery of client investment, with flawless accuracy across all aspects
    • Identify commercial opportunities with the ability to make a compelling case for their inclusion
    • Provide robust and accurate internal forecasting, both across client investment and for required resources to manage campaign delivery
Requirements
  • Expertise in Social, preferably programmatic, and ideally with an experience with eCommerce
  • Experience in people management, with a team of 5 or more
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
