Senior Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Governance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in data governance and management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of governing company data, managing associated risk, and ensuring data integrity and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Governance Processes: Developing and implementing technical tools to enhance data governance processes.
  • Analytics Initiatives: Supporting analytics initiatives to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Control Measures: Executing control measures to maintain the highest standards of data management.
  • IT Systems Expertise: Acting as the IT systems SME, providing expert guidance and support to the team.
  • Critical Data Elements: Managing critical data elements, including CDE and metadata management, system scanning, and tool configuration.
  • Data Governance Controls: Designing, implementing, and maintaining data governance controls.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Data Governance Tools Experience: Strong experience with data governance tools, supporting analytics, control execution, and serving as a data governance / IT systems SME.
  • Collaborative Experience: Collaborative experience working with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Risk Stewardship: Ability to balance commercial acumen with risk stewardship.
  • Report Writing: Skilled at writing clear and concise reports.
  • Microsoft Purview: Working understanding of Microsoft Purview.
