About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our team as a Sales and Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, face-to-face, over the phone, and via email. You will also be expected to offer support and advice to customers, perform counter sales and support tasks, and liaise with internal staff and external clients.

This is a long-term role with opportunities to grow and develop into senior positions or transfer to other departments within the business. We offer significant training and investment in your career, including full-time hours with a view to becoming permanent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer enquiries, face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
  • Offer support and advice to customers
  • Perform counter sales and support tasks, including cash/EFTPOS transactions
  • Liaise with internal staff and external clients, providing support and performing administrative functions
  • Assist with stock management and general housekeeping tasks
Requirements
  • You will enjoy working with people and exceeding customer expectations
  • You must be well-organized and able to learn quickly
  • You should be committed, reliable, and responsible
  • You must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and/or drug and alcohol screen
  • You will need to be fit and able to work on your feet all day, but also assist customers with items weighing over 20kg
  • You must have reliable transport
Preferred Qualifications
  • A background in retail, cleaning, or trades would be ideal
  • Familiarity with POS systems, such as Dynamics, SAP, or S21, would be advantageous
What We Offer

As a Sales and Customer Service Representative with Programmed, you can expect a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
