About the Role

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for planning mechanical work scope and providing technical support to the site team.

  • Prepare technical documentation specific to the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process and evaluate bids/offers.
  • Manage mobilization, demobilization, and purchase orders.
  • Create and update site documentation such as lifting plans, installation instructions, and erection protocols.
  • Support the development of Health, Safety, and Environment & Quality plans with the responsible person.
  • Provide technical assistance to the site team and facilitate clarification with the engineering team.
  • Participate in design review meetings to ensure field-related design considerations are addressed.
  • Prepare and maintain subcontractor work packages.
  • Contribute to short- and medium-term work planning and monitor progress.

This role requires strong technical and operational knowledge of power plant equipment, along with proficiency in project management best practices. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in an international team environment.

  • Quality, schedule, and cost monitoring.
Requirements
  • University diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Prior experience in supervision of BoPm installation in the field of large hydro power projects or similar industries.
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment.
  • Solid knowledge of construction project management best practices.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach.
Working Conditions

A typical roster includes 14 days in and 7 days out.

A standard work schedule is 10 hours per day, 7 days a week.
