The Role:

This Senior Manager position within our Group Risk Advisory and Assurance team focuses on providing expert guidance and advice on risk management and compliance matters. The primary objective is to ensure AP+'s risk management framework remains effective and aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for reviewing and challenging our Business Risk (Line 1) team while collaborating closely with the Policy & Compliance Team in Group Risk. Your tasks will include advisory services, compliance and control, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • a minimum of 8 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or advisory roles, with at least 3 years in a senior management position;
  • in-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and industry best practices;
  • proficiency in risk management software and tools;
  • proven expertise in providing strategic risk management and compliance advice, with a strong understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements;
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations;
  • strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in developing and mentoring staff;
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels;
  • proficiency in risk management and compliance software, with a solid understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.
