Job Description

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to grow and support our customer base in Australia.

The candidate needs to be situated in New South Wales (ideally close to Griffith or the surrounds), one of the core regions to our existing customer base, and where there is still significant room for growth.

You'll work closely with growers, offering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and build relationships with new customers in the horticultural sector
  2. Provide hands-on product demonstrations and training at farms and offices
  3. Develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and profitability
  4. Develop, implement and achieve revenue & profitability targets aligned with forecasts
  5. Optimize the customer decision journey so as to minimize spend and resources, and to maximize purchases and repurchases
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  7. Partner with the Product team to uncover new customer needs & inform product development
  8. Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in agribusiness or AgTech, or in Tech space
  • Background or experience in perennial tree crops, agronomy, or horticulture is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive results without direct supervision
  • World-Class service delivery & customer centric attitude
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Valid work permit for Australia (if applicable)
