Our maternity services at Sandringham are a multidisciplinary team model, catering to women with low to moderate risk health needs.

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager supports the Services Manager in leading day-to-day operations, ensuring a positive and professional working environment.

This role is a key part of our team, responsible for managing the Birth Suite, Postnatal, and Pregnancy Day Care teams, as well as liaising with Special Care Nursery and Post Natal Care In The Home teams.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring that services provided by the team are woman-focused, integrated, consistent, evidence-based, supportive of a learning environment, and provide high-quality care in accordance with our Clinical Practice Guidelines.

- Collaborating with the Services Manager to develop strategies that promote a positive work environment and support staff development.

- Working effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

In line with government requirements, all workers at the hospital must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption.

Additionally, applicants will be required to have received an influenza vaccination.
