Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the daily coordination of maternity education teams at our Sunshine and Bacchus Marsh Campuses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to clinical midwifery educators and clinical support midwives, while developing individual team members.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced educator to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality education that fosters staff capability in our maternity service.

The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure education is clinically relevant and educationally sound.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily coordination of maternity education teams at Sunshine and Bacchus Marsh Campuses
  • Provide support to clinical midwifery educators and clinical support midwives
  • Develop individual team members to achieve their full potential
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality education
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree with an educational focus
  • Previous experience in a leadership and/or senior education management role
  • A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience with advanced clinical skills
  • A minimum of 3 years' education experience, including experience in the development, implementation, assessment and evaluation of educational programs and resources
