Job Description:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in planning, leadership, and service coordination within the maternal and child health sector. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and support the development of the Universal Maternal and Child Health program
  2. Provide clinical leadership and guidance to MCH nurses across the service and wider team
  3. Monitor and improve administrative systems to ensure efficient and accessible service delivery
  4. Drive a collaborative team culture, encouraging shared planning, decision-making, and achievement of objectives
  5. Ensure services are evidence-based, community-focused, and fully aligned with MCH guidelines and legislative requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mandatory qualifications to practice as a MCH nurse in Victoria
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, leadership, and delivery of MCH services
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and funding guidelines
  • Proven skills in financial management, business planning, and service monitoring
