We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality maternal and child health services. As a Program Lead, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of our Universal Maternal and Child Health program and other related initiatives.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in planning, leadership, and service coordination within the maternal and child health sector. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure we meet the high expectations of our community and deliver quality outcomes. Your strong leadership skills will enable you to drive strategy, oversee daily operations, and empower your team to achieve their best work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the development of the Universal Maternal and Child Health program
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to MCH nurses across the service and wider team
- Monitor and improve administrative systems to ensure efficient and accessible service delivery
- Drive a collaborative team culture, encouraging shared planning, decision-making, and achievement of objectives
- Ensure services are evidence-based, community-focused, and fully aligned with MCH guidelines and legislative requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Mandatory qualifications to practice as a MCH nurse in Victoria
- Demonstrated experience in planning, leadership, and delivery of MCH services
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and funding guidelines
- Proven skills in financial management, business planning, and service monitoring
