We are seeking skilled Midwives to join our dedicated maternity team in a leading healthcare provider in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team committed to providing exceptional care and support throughout pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
The maternity unit offers state-of-the-art birthing experiences, continuity of care models, and a collaborative approach with leading obstetricians. You will have the opportunity to work in all areas across the unit, including postnatal, special care nursery, and birth suites.
Families enjoy 5 days of postnatal care, supported by our multidisciplinary team, which includes midwives, registered nurses, and lactation consultants working together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The unit has cutting-edge maternity practices, medical technology, and evidence-based care models, ensuring the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualised, compassionate, woman-centred care
- Work in a collaborative, supportive maternity team
- Support both low-risk births and complex maternity cases
- Registered Midwives with at least 3 years' Midwifery experience
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Midwife (or in process)
- Bachelor of Midwifery or an equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
