About the Role

The Staying On Track program aims to enhance community safety and reduce reoffending by bridging the transition of young people from detention to the community.

This position involves proactive outreach across the community, courts, detention centres, and watchhouses. You will lead a team of Practitioners and Mentors, ensuring high-quality service delivery, risk management, and consistency in therapeutic practice.

  • Leading a team to deliver best-practice services.
  • Managing team operations, including supervision, staff development, recruitment, induction, and rostering.
  • Providing guidance on implementing support plans and matching Mentors based on young people's needs.
  • Promoting a culturally safe, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
