Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Coordinator to oversee the delivery of youth justice programs that support young people aged 10-17 who display offending behaviours.

The Coordinator will play a critical leadership role, leading a team of Mentors and Practitioners to deliver best-practice, client-focused services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals to provide high-quality services to clients.
  • Manage team operations, including supervision, staff development, recruitment, induction, and rostering.
  • Oversee referrals from Youth Justice and allocate to appropriate staff members.
  • Provide guidance in implementing support plans and matching Mentors based on clients' needs.
  • Promote and maintain a culturally safe, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
  • Ensure all legislative, regulatory, and contractual standards are met.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Behavioural Science, Psychology, or similar.
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Queensland Driver Licence.
  • Ability to travel within the service region.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call support.
