We are seeking an experienced senior instructional designer to lead the development of training programs for a state government department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging and effective training activities and assessments using instructional design principles.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop high-quality learning content.
  • Manage training projects from conception to delivery within set timelines and resources.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, such as VET Quality Framework and AQF.
  • Provide expert advice on training policies and strategic initiatives to senior management.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships to support training program success.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in developing e-learning content and instructional design strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the Vocational Education and Training sector and its regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes and applying quality-driven processes.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Formal qualification in training and assessment, such as TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing digital learning programs.
  • Leadership and project management experience, with a track record of driving business improvements.
