Social Inclusion Specialist

About the Role:

ISS is seeking a passionate professional to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across our organisation in South Australia and Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion inclusive practices by offering support and mentoring programs
  • Support recruitment initiatives and talent pipelines
  • Build relationships with First Nations leaders, elders, and community partners
  • Partner with local job providers and community groups to support employment of employees from disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Manage and report on Social Inclusion and Indigenous Participation Plan (IPP)
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive onboarding experiences, support and mentoring
Requirements:
  • Experience working with diverse communities (min. 1 year)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Community connections and strong stakeholder engagement
  • HR-related qualifications (Degree/Diploma preferred)
  • Passion for social inclusion and sustainable employment outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel a must)
