Are you up for the challenge?

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Identify and Manage relationships with Aboriginal businesses, Community Organisations, Not For profit organisations and Social Enterprises in NSW
- Developing and managing relationships with local Aboriginal Community groups and Traditional Owner groups
- Reviewing and writing of tender plans regarding Aboriginal participation, social procurement and skills and training
- Tracking and reporting of social inclusion data including hours worked and training undertaken by Aboriginal people, young people, trainees, cadets and other cohorts
- Provide support to projects to ensure they meet and exceed social inclusion requirements Implementing tender strategies into delivery
- Engaging with businesses, GTO's, RTO's, Universities and TAFE that assist in Apprentices, Trainees and Undergrads Linking Aboriginal businesses and Social Enterprises to potential packages of work with the procurement/commercial teams
- Supporting and/or delivering Cultural Awareness Training
- Implementing Reconciliation Action Plan activities onto projects
- Supporting event organisation for days of significance i.e. NAIDOC Week, Cultural Diversity Week
- Supporting Social Inclusion Manager & People team as required

**To be successful, you must have**:

- Working knowledge of Federal and State Government Social Inclusion policies applicable to the Construction industry
- Experience working with Aboriginal-owned businesses and/or community groups
- Experience engaging with Social Enterprise or Not for Profit organisations
- Experience working with and/or advocating for disadvantaged cohorts
- Experience creating employment pathways and/or training programs for disadvantaged cohorts
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
