About the Role

Our team delivers best value for clients through a holistic approach that sees engineers and consultants working together with operational specialists to deliver smart infrastructure from start to finish.

The foreperson will lead and manage project site level resources on roads and pavements construction projects, ensuring all work activities are carried out safely and in a timely manner.

This role focuses on quality of work, road user safety, minimal local community impact and enhanced environmental and sustainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure site delivery is maintained between immediate client concerns and works to plan
  • Engaging with emergency services as required
  • Monitoring and analysing time and resource utilisations, including materials against programme and budgets
  • Conducting regular toolbox talks
  • Prioritising, planning and scheduling teams' work and liaising with appropriate project staff
  • Managing IR/HR of the team

Requirements

- Certificate IV in Civil Construction
- Current Driver's Licence
- Extensive civil construction experience
- Team management skills
- TMR specification and traffic management knowledge
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
