About the Role:

As a skilled Civil Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of civil infrastructure projects related to road maintenance. This will involve supervising the entire project cycle, from planning and execution to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule road condition inspections and propose recommendations for restoration measures and materials.
  • Aid in the management of civil infrastructure projects, focusing on road maintenance contracts, throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Utilise standard drawings, specifications, supplementary specifications, and other pertinent job documentation to ensure work meets standards and quality expectations.
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of asbestos to facilitate identification and testing.
  • Collaborate with relevant engineering and technology divisions concerning road condition and suitable repair methods.
  • Effectively use infrastructure management systems to support inspection and quality review efforts.
  • Coordinate and direct personnel and resources during emergency situations.
  • Arrange material logistics and engage with suppliers, conducting supplier performance evaluations as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Civil Construction applicable to modern transport infrastructure projects.
  • Significant previous experience in Road maintenance or construction.
  • Participation in Civil Trades Development Program (CTDP) and possession of a White Card (Construction Induction).
  • Core Leadership and Management competencies.

  • Possession of a Certificate IV in Civil Supervision (Leadership and Management competencies) is desirable.
  • You may be required to travel to other locations to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.

  • The recommended applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical as part of our selection process for this role.
  • Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland C class driver's licence or equivalent.
