Job Description

This role oversees vehicle processing, storage, fleet fitment, distribution and delivery to ensure high-quality service and maintain a premium brand reputation with OEMs and dealerships.

Key responsibilities include managing vehicle receiving, processing, storage, fleet fitment, distribution and delivery to meet customer and contractual requirements. Additional duties involve planning and allocating labor to optimize workflows, adjusting priorities and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will oversee job card and invoice accuracy, vehicle and parts inventory, and cost compliance while resolving daily operational and employee issues. A high-performance team culture is fostered by the successful candidate.

Additionally, this role involves maintaining freight carrier relationships, managing warehouse facilities, and optimizing site utilization and lease arrangements. Continuous improvement drives results in this position, with a focus on ISO and safety compliance and meeting site financial and OHS targets.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' management experience in a medium-sized P&L business, with a strong background in logistics; automotive industry experience is desirable.
  • A full driver's license is required; tertiary qualifications in transport, mechanical, automotive logistics or supply chain are an advantage.
  • Proven leadership, team management and people development skills, with strong communication, customer service focus and ability to manage workload planning.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge, OHS experience in industrial environments and computer skills for operational efficiency are essential.
