About the job: This role oversees vehicle processing, storage, fleet fitment, distribution, and delivery, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining Auto Nexus's premium brand reputation with OEMs and dealerships.
Key responsibilities: Manage vehicle receiving, processing, storage, fleet fitment, distribution, and delivery to meet customer and contractual requirements.
Plan and allocate labour to optimise workflows, adjust priorities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Oversee job card and invoice accuracy, vehicle and parts inventory, and cost compliance.
Resolve daily operational and employee issues while fostering a high-performance, values-driven team culture.
Maintain freight carrier relationships, manage SA facilities, and optimise site utilisation and lease arrangements.
Drive continuous improvement, ensure ISO and safety compliance, and meet site financial and OHS targets.
About you: Minimum 3 years' management experience in a medium-sized P&L business, with a strong background in logistics; automotive industry experience is desirable.
Holds a full driver's licence; tertiary qualifications in transport, mechanical, automotive logistics, or supply chain are an advantage.
Proven leadership, team management, and people development skills, with strong communication, customer service focus, and ability to manage workload planning.
Sound mechanical knowledge, OHS experience in industrial environments, and solid computer skills for operational efficiency.
