Site Operations Director
About the role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Director to manage vehicle receiving, processing, storage, fleet fitment, distribution, and delivery to meet customer requirements.
- The ideal candidate will plan and allocate labour to optimise workflows, adjust priorities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- This role involves overseeing job card and invoice accuracy, vehicle and parts inventory, and cost compliance.
- You will resolve daily operational and employee issues while fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Maintain relationships with freight carriers, manage site facilities, and optimise site utilisation and lease arrangements.
- Drive continuous improvement, ensure ISO and safety compliance, and meet site financial targets.
Your background:
- Minimum 3 years' management experience in logistics, with a strong background in automotive industry desirable.
- Holds a full driver's licence; tertiary qualifications in transport, mechanical, or supply chain an advantage.
- Proven leadership, team management, and people development skills, with strong communication, customer service focus, and ability to manage workload planning.
- Sound mechanical knowledge, OHS experience in industrial environments, and solid computer skills for operational efficiency.
