Site Operations Manager Role Overview

This position oversees vehicle processing, storage, fleet fitment, distribution, and delivery to ensure high-quality service and maintain a premium brand reputation with OEMs and dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage vehicle receiving, processing, storage, fleet fitment, distribution, and delivery to meet customer and contractual requirements.
  • Plan and allocate labor to optimize workflows, adjust priorities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee job card and invoice accuracy, vehicle and parts inventory, and cost compliance.
  • Resolve daily operational and employee issues while fostering a high-performance team culture.
  • Maintain freight carrier relationships, manage site facilities, and optimize site utilization and lease arrangements.
  • Drive continuous improvement, ensure ISO and safety compliance, and meet site financial targets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' management experience in a medium-sized business with a strong background in logistics; automotive industry experience is desirable.
  • Holds a full driver's license; tertiary qualifications in transport, mechanical, automotive logistics, or supply chain are an advantage.
  • Proven leadership, team management, and people development skills, with strong communication, customer service focus, and ability to manage workload planning.
  • Solid computer skills for operational efficiency.
