Empowering People with Disabilities
Job Description:We are seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Our team is passionate about empowering people with disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide intimate personal care (toileting, showering, feeding, dressing)
- Support customers in their homes and communities
- Coach independent living skills (e.g., cooking, domestic tasks, social engagement)
- Administer medication and follow support plans
- Facilitate community access and recreational activities
- Assist with diabetes management and PEG feeding (training provided if required at this site)
- Full Driver's licence and full comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid / CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Qualifications in Disability or Community Services are highly regarded
- Competitive hourly rate under the SCHADS Award
- Ongoing training and development
