Disability Care Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our care team as a Disability Support Practitioner. As a key member of the team, you will provide compassionate care and support to clients with disabilities, empowering them to live independently and achieve their goals.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide personalized assistance and advocacy to clients, helping them develop and maintain independence through various means.
Key Responsibilities:- Support clients in daily activities such as mealtimes, personal care, medication administration, and manual handling using specialized equipment and aids.
- Transport clients safely and efficiently in wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
- Monitor clients' well-being and report on their progress.
- Experience in caring or disability support roles (DSP, assistant in nursing, aged care).
- A current Driver's License with a minimum P2 license category.
- An attractive hourly rate with penalty rates and superannuation.
