Disability Care Specialist

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support to clients with disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting and mobility in a safe and competent manner of care and skill.
- Provide one on one support to elderly or clients with disabilities in the comfort of their own home.
- Build genuine rapport with clients, provide companionship, and transportation for medical appointments or outings.
- Experienced support workers in the field of mental health, challenging behaviors or complex care are highly desirable.
- Passionate support workers who want to empower clients to achieve their goals through a people-centered approach.
- Sociable support workers who love interacting in meaningful conversation that helps keep the client's mind healthy and alert.
- A CAN-DO attitude that is also compassionate, caring and reliable.
- Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability) or Equivalent.
- NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC).
- WWCC (if willing to work with children).
- First Aid Certificate.
- COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate.
