About this role

We are seeking experienced professionals to provide high-quality, person-centered support to clients with complex care needs. You will work closely with individuals in their own homes to enhance their independence and quality of life.

Your key responsibilities
  • Supporting clients with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication management
  • Assisting with bowel care, stoma care, PEG feeding & urinary catheter management
  • Providing transportation for appointments, shopping, and social activities
  • Implementing positive behavior support strategies to manage complex behaviors
  • Supporting clients in achieving their NDIS goals and promoting empowerment

You will need a Certificate IV in Disability Support, Aged Care, or Community Services (desired), experience working with Complex Care and challenging behaviors, and excellent communication and de-escalation skills.

Other important requirements include a background in mental health, intellectual disabilities, and high-support needs; training in restrictive practices, positive behavior support, and trauma-informed care; and a current Australian driver's license and access to your own reliable vehicle.
