Our continuous recruitment reflects our growth and demand for high-caliber support workers, not staff turnover.About the RoleIn this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centered support to clients with complex care, complex behaviors, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), mental health conditions to name few.
You'll work closely with individuals in their own homes to enhance their independence, quality of life, and community participation.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication supportAssisting with bowel care, stoma care, PEG feeding & urinary catheter supportProviding transportation for appointments, shopping, and social activitiesImplementing positive behavior support strategies to manage complex behaviorsSupporting clients in achieving their NDIS goals, promoting inclusion and empowermentWe are seeking experienced professionals who:Have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in disability support, specifically working with Complex Care and challenging behaviorsHold a Certificate IV in Disability Support, Aged Care, or Community Services (preferred)Have a background in mental health, intellectual disabilities, and high-support needsAre trained in restrictive practices, positive behavior support (PBS), and trauma-informed carePossess excellent communication and de-escalation skillsHold a current Australian driver's license and have access to your own reliable vehicleDon't meet all the criteria but believe you have the right work ethic, reliability, and attitude?
