Workplace Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in promoting a positive safety culture on site, ensuring compliance with Amazon's Global Safety Program and local and regional laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits to identify compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate incident investigation processes and maintain accurate safety incident information.
- Perform safety observations, audits, and targeted training to upskill teams on safety responsibilities.
- Collaborate with site operations teams and the WHS manager to execute company policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in process improvement activities and drive actions to completion.
- Support the development of the WHS Management System, procedures, training materials, and inspection programs.
- Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security or personnel issues in the workplace.
- Experience in workplace health & safety (WHS) related field.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in emergency response, experience in worker's compensation case management, experience using Microsoft Word in a professional capacity, Bachelors degree in Health and Safety related field.
