Senior Finance Professional

The Senior Finance Professional is an important leadership position within the Agency, accountable for undertaking very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across finance functions.
This role provides strategic guidance, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for a team of members and contractors working within the finance area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and managing components of the Agency's financial statements using SAP software, providing regular reporting in Central Budget Management System (CBMS).
- Delivering the Agency's financial projects.
- Delivering timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Partnering with teams to provide general accounting and strategic financial advice.
- Managing and updating relevant costing models and preparing costings for budget rounds as required.
- Developing and presenting written material of a financial and business nature.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in developing reports and dashboards for Senior Management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience in financial reporting or working with financial information.
- Ability to interpret and transform data.
- Highly-developed stakeholder engagement skills.
Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
