  • The role of Chief Financial Officer is a senior leadership position responsible for driving business growth and success.

About the Role

Responsibilities of this role include managing the day-to-day finance function, preparing informative internal financial reports, overseeing credit control, payroll, cash flow, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities also include managing and developing budgeting and forecasting, managing monthly management accounts, quarterly management reporting, and facilitating the preparation of statutory accounts.

  • BALANCE SHEET MANAGEMENT;
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and overseeing external audit processes;
  • Liaising with external advisors for tax and statutory reporting purposes;
  • Overseeing multiple insurance policies across the Group;
  • Managing and coordinating relationships with existing and new banking facilities;
  • Providing ad hoc financial analysis and insight to improve performance across all entities;
  • Identifying areas of improvement and potential growth and efficiencies across all entities.

This is a high-profile role that requires strong leadership and management skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Skills and Expertise

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have:

  • CA/CPA accreditation with proven experience in senior finance roles;
  • Experience working in a commercial environment;
  • Strong leadership and management skills with an ability to influence and provide added value service;
  • Capability of developing and implementing high-level strategies;
  • Engage with internal and external senior stakeholders;
  • High levels of energy, a strong inner belief in your capabilities, and a drive to succeed.
