About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Professional to join our Finance team as a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements for the group, working closely with external auditors to ensure a seamless audit process, and overseeing areas related to lease accounting and store impairment.

Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the group's insurance renewal and assist in efficiently managing claims.

This position involves solving complex reporting challenges and maintaining the financials in an audit-ready state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial statements for the group
  • Collaborating with external auditors for a smooth audit process
  • Overseeing lease accounting and store impairment
  • Cordinating the group's insurance renewal
  • Efficiently managing claims

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Accounting role
  • Degree/qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, Finance)
  • Completed or working towards CPA & CA qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
