Maintenance Coordinator Opportunity at Catholic Healthcare

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Villa Maria, a beautiful aged care home in Fortitude Valley. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance services, including breakdown repairs, planned preventative works, and minor project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to residents and staff
  • Provide technical advice and support to the Residential Manager and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality services
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and lift equipment
  • Current unrestricted Class C NSW Drivers Licence
  • NDIS check or willingness to obtain
